Ode Oh Nigeria....A Poem by Benneth Nwankwo

In the midst of corruption, terror crept inn.
Bombing scoring high;men, women & children slain in their numbers.
Politicians everywhere gathering forces for 2015,
yet our girls are missing.
It's strange.
It's strange how all these are happening yet we stand strong.
Power supply 5minutes per day and our economy stabbed with pen
and armed robbery yet our GDP scoring high in Africa.
I don't have answers for all these!.
Perhaps the answers are strange.
I had thought for a long time and found no answer.
I was merely led into greater complexities!.
I only know WE Nigerians are brave people.
We are strong.
We are tough and tough times doesn't last but tough people do. ‪#‎GodBlessNigeria

Benneth Speaks on Super Eagles World Cup Outing

WHY WE MUST NOT CONDEMN THE ‪#‎SuperEagles‬.

Yes it was a shambolic display. The Eagles could not even make good passes, there was no team work,no creativity,no precise goal attempt. But we must not forget that ‪#‎IRAN‬ were only defending minded. They made few offensives & covered their backline.Again it's imperative to note that no team is inferor.Who had expected the almighty ‪#‎SPAIN‬ to be humbled by ‪#‎HOLAND‬,or Ronaldo's ‪#‎PORTUGAL‬ to be dumbed 3 nil by the ‪#‎GERMANS‬.Situation like this demands of us to support our team. They really need the supportive voice of 160M.I also hope that some political party won't blame GEJ for this sporting mishap. If we condem our team for this draw, then what would the ‪#‎GHANIANS‬ ‪#‎SPANIARDS‬ ‪#‎PORTUGES‬ do to their respective teams?.Its not over.We still have chances. Some have even suggested that ‪#‎AGERNTINA‬ should bench their star#MESSI aganist ‪#‎NIGERIA‬.That is absolutely absurd.Enough of this ‪#‎SuperChickens‬ movement, please
let us support the #SuperEagles, because this is the GAME. ‪#‎WorldCup

THE SILENCE THAT SILENCE US;BENNETH NWANKWO SPEAKS ON EVOLUTION OF CHURCHES IN NIGERIA.

THE SILENCE THAT SILENCE US.

The church is the most corrupt
organization in the world,
especially,
the Nigerian churches.
In which organization in the world
are
the leaders of the organization not
held accountable for what they do?
Except the church.
In the church, pastors are not
accountable to their members.
They
claim that they are only
accountable
to God. So their members can not
talk,
even when they are oppressed. As
long
as you are a pastor, you have
immunity clause. You can not go
wrong.
When pastors fart, even in the
public,
and people raise eyeballs, it is seen
as
criticism and judgement. Then, you
are
threaten with a curse.
Church members are not supposed
to
speak about the evil deeds of their
pastors. In short, pastors are gods
to
their followers. Because of the
'anointing' they are infallible. So,
they
can do and undo.
But people don't realize that when
a
mortal man is given the status of a
God, he becomes godless.
This
scenario is playing out at the
Synagogue church where scores of
people are reported death after a
building collapsed.
Reports from Lagos State govt
show
that the building which collapse
did
not receive govt approval. It was
even
discovered that most of the
buildings
of the church did not have govt
approval. This means that the
pastor
was govt to himself. He was
building
houses unchecked recklessly.
Isn't it time govt began to
investigate
the activities of Nigerian churches?
Many of this churches are more or
less
ritual houses of horror and
bondage.
They preach salvation but keep
their
followers in bondage.
Lots of pastors hide under the
name of
church to commit untold atrocities
and go scot free because, the
victims
are cowed and brainwashed not to
speak out.
Pastors use statements such as,
'thou
shall not not judge, 'do not speak
evil
of a man of god', 'touch not my
anointed and do my prophet no
harm'
to threaten their followers into
subjection.Why?;because we are
silent and have become
timid.ENOUGH.

THE EBOLA IN US:BENNETH NWANKWO SPEAKS ON THE GOOD AND BAD SIDES OF EBOLA OUTBREAK IN NIGERIA.

I'm sure some are already about to
either curse me, collapse or take off
(run) because of my mere mention
of Ebola and then saying that 'we'
all have it. Wait a minute, if you
don't have the virus, you have
something very synonymous to it.
Yes! Listen.

The noise about Ebola is gradually
dying but pause a minute and
ponder on the lesson. Did we really
get the underlying message which
this merciless deadly virus left for
us?
We all have Ebola. Yes, you have it,
check your conscience. You know
why Ebola is a big lesson? It is as
merciless as it is inconsiderate!
Whether big or small, and it will
take your last breath as fast as that
thief who will come in the night as
described by Christ.
Yes, everyone is involved. It was
Ebola that made you forgive and
love that enemy you have loathed
for long. (if your enemy catches
Ebola, you will be the first he/she
will infect). And so, I saw all hand
on deck. I wondered if I am still in
Nigeria or my study leave have
suddenly been approved.
This is not the time for the
government to say ''the university
can remain closed for ages, my
kids are abroad''. Ebola is
omnipresent. It was with Ebola that
I understood that government
indifferent and carefree attitude in
certain issues of our national
endeavor, as delicate and acute
as Ebola is intentional. They can
actually combat and contain
anything they sincerely wish to.
Was any committee actually
formed, to sit on long meaningless
meetings? No. Even oga GEJ
addressed us, talking from his very
fearful mind and not reading
mindlessly from his regular
verbose papers
It is not the case of telling your
wayward neighbour, friend or ward,
'keep flirting, if you catch HIV, you
die' (can you live under same roof
with someone with Ebola? But you
can live with an HIV patient). And
so, for once, you obeyed Christ's
commandment- 'love your enemy'
Yes, if you understand what I
mean!
So, Nigerians can actually be
discipline; respectfully and gently
queue at parks, banks and other
public service outlets. We all have
Ebola. And, when this Ebola is
gone, can we maintain the same
decorum?
Am I dreaming? So our government
can actually face a problem
squarely and sincerely and have it
remedied? Does it mean that
government can actually contain
corruption, looting, embezzlement,
power problem, and the rot that
stinks in civil service? We all have
Ebola.
For how long shall we remain with
this high profile deadly virus in us. I
wish Ebola can take the form of all
these evil we have always been
warned to detest. I wish Ebola can
turn to lies, slander, gossip, deceit,
malpractice, indecency, cheating,
fornication, theft, kidnapping. Please,
tell me who will be free?
So all these 'independent laissez-
faire' agencies and palatals can
actually collaborate to serve us
better? So information and health
ministry actually has a link? 'No
problem God will see us'
Please, leave that evil now, before it
transforms to Ebola.

A NEW DAWN HAS ARRIVED BY BENNETH NWANKWO

"Give No Room To Your Past To
Ruin Your Brighter Future"

"Today expect something good to
happen to you no matter what
occurred yesterday.
Realize the past no longer holds
you captive.
It can only continue to hurt you if
you hold on to it.
Let the past go.

“You must make a decision that
you are going to move on. It wont
happen automatically. You will
have to rise up and say,
‘I don’t care how hard this is, I
don’t care how disappointed I am,
I’m not going to let this get the
best of me.
I’m moving on with my life.
A simply abundant world awaits....‪#‎RiseAndWin‬
